Public Workshops

These workshops are for individuals, partners, friends, and lovers.
My public workshops incorporate the use of mindfulness as a foundation to explore different erotic techniques. I'm passionate about helping people understand the powerful benefits of pleasure and play. Through your participation in these workshops, I hope you will begin to cultivate a deep curiosity about exploring pleasure playfully.

These workshops are capped at 10 participants.

Mindful Touch

All too often we become accustomed to touching ourselves and others in specific ways. We fall into patterns of touch and forget to explore different avenues of pleasure. Mindful Touch focuses on consent, communication, presence, conscious touch, and authentic connection. This workshop is the antidote to scripted and goal-directed touch and a great way to begin developing the skills to enjoy further exploration of yourself and your partner(s).

Mindfulness & Rope Play

Curious to explore what rope play is all about? This is a great place to start. Think you're not into bondage or rope play? There just may be more to rope than you realize. In this workshop you will learn how to deepen your experience of mindfulness and presence using rope as a toy. We will focus on cultivating safety, connection, curiosity, and play.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a state of focused effort to be aware and present in the moment while gently acknowledging and accepting one’s own thoughts or feelings without judgement.

What are the Benefits of Mindfulness?

Mindfulness practice is a powerful tool for therapy and education. Mindfulness allows one the opportunity to feel and acknowledge emotions and other physical sensation in the body without the burden of unwanted thoughts. Practicing mindfulness over time can help you become more aware and present in your daily life, thereby allowing you to more easily savor everyday and fully focus on chosen activities.

For Mental Health Professionals

Unfortunately, the training of therapist, counselors, and other mental health professionals often neglects the topic of sexuality. Sexual identity and sexual behaviors are an integral part of one's personhood. They effect the way we relate to ourselves, our partners, and the world around us. The mental health of sexual minorities has not merely been ignored, but often pathologized. I have created workshops for mental health professionals who wish to further their knowledge and capacities for working with certain sexually marginalized groups.

These presentations were originally intended for small groups, but are also formatted as lectures for large audiences.

Working With Kinky Clients

Are you a clinician looking to improve your knowledge and skills for working with kinky clients? In this presentation I will discuss kink as an identity, kinky sexual behaviors, the development of kink identities, and strategies for best practice with kinky clients. This lecture ends with an Ask Me Anything-style Q&A for those questions you feel will deepen your understanding, but are inappropriate to ask a client.

Working With Sex Workers

Sex workers have long been ostracized and pushed to the margins of society. They have also managed to be at the forefront of societal change. Modern sex workers are becoming more visible by the day. But what exactly is a sex worker, and what does it mean to be one? In this lecture I will confront common misconceptions about sex work and sex workers, examine reasons sex workers may seek mental health services, and discuss what it means to offer sex worker-affirming care.
